Harvest Moon: Back to Nature has many annual events and festivals. Attending such events will increase your standing with the other villagers and help your overall farming success. It's important to note that on festival days that show up on your calendar, all stores are closed and you cannot ship items, so anything you place in the bin that day will be wasted.
