Mineral Village has quite a few places to visit, most of which are open from different hours on different days of the week. All shops are closed on festival days that appear on your calendar.

1. Blacksmith - Saibara, the local blacksmith, runs this shop that is very close to your farm. Here you can upgrade all of your frequently-used tools to make them do more work faster. He also sells useful items, like the Cheese Maker and Brush. It's open from 4 AM to 10 AM and closed on Thursdays. Gray, Saibara's nephew, also stays here. If Saibara is upgrading a tool for you, you won't be able to enter the shop until he is done.

2. Aja Winery - Open from 9 AM to 12 PM, and closed on Saturdays, the winery is where you can go to get some good "spirits." Manna and Duke operate the place, and during the Fall Duke might ask you to help him in picking grapes. You can tell Cliff about this job opportunity and it might boost his spirits. If you're trying to marry Karen, you'll have to visit the winery often to buy her wine.

3. Anna's House - Anna, the wife of Basil, and mother of Mary, is here most of the day. You can come in between 10 AM and 5 PM, and you'll usually find Basil here. Mary is also here sometimes.

4. Library - Open from 10 AM to 4 PM and closed on Mondays, the Library is a good place to go for information about the village. Mary, the librarian, is usually here. Gray sometimes stops by to talk to Mary and read. Be sure to read all the books.

5. Ellen's House - You can enter here between 10 AM and 5 PM. Ellen is always here, in her rocking chair. Stu will be here sometimes, and Elli stops by to visit her grandmother on Wednesdays.

6. Mayor's House - As with the other homes, you can enter here between 10 AM and 5 PM. The mayor will usually be home, but his son, Kano, will also be here most of the day.

7. Supermarket - The Supermarket carries many different food-related items. It's open between 9 AM and 5 PM (closed Tuesdays and Sundays) and is operated by Jeff. Karen can also be found here, as well as many of the other villagers throughout the week. The Supermarket sells cooking ingredients, seeds, fish feed, and wrapping paper, as well as enlargements for your rucksack and the basket. You can also get the Blue Feather here when you're ready to propose. For a description of the seeds available, and their prices, refer to the "Crops" page.

8. Clinic - Operated by the Doctor and Elli, the Mineral Town Clinic is open from 9 AM to 4 PM and closed on Wednesdays. You can have an examination done if you think you might be sick. To get the Bodigizer XL and Turbojolt XL, you have to have the kitchen and 2nd house upgrades.

9. Church - The Church is always open. Carter is almost always here, and you'll usually find Cliff here too. You can visit the confessional between 1 PM and 4 PM on Monday or Wednesday and confess your sins to the Goddess. There are many different sins that you can confess, but you can only confess one per day.

10. Harvest Sprites' Hut - You can find the seven Harvest Sprites here between 10 AM and 5 PM. You can go here to get the sprites to work for you.

11. Doug's Place - Open from 8 AM to 9 PM (except all Summer starting Summer 5th, when it closes at 5 PM instead), the inn has a famous bar and is quite popular. Won is found here daily from 1 PM to 3 PM, selling various items. Other villagers can be found here at other times as well. Doug operates the place, and his daughter Ann works here as well.

12. Rose Square - The ladies of the village, Manna, Anna, and Sasha, can be found here during the day, chatting. If you actually throw garbage that you catch while fishing into the wastebasket in the square, you can increase your chances of successfully catching a fish. Most events are held here as well.

13. Summer Lodge - Operated by Kai only during the Summer, and open from 10 AM to 5 PM (closed Mondays), the Summer Lodge sells food items that aren't normally available. Talk to Kai to buy something.

16. Gotz's House - The carpenter, Gotz, lives in the mountains and will build improvements for your farm. Visit his home from 11 AM to 5 PM any day but Sunday to ask him to work. Louis, the bee nut, also stays here. Each upgrade requires a certain amount of money (G) and lumber. Get the necessary amount of lumber by chopping stumps in the mountain, or you can buy lumber from Gotz. The upgrades must be done in the order below.
