The local town, Cherrybud Village, has many annual events. For most major events, you'll receive a picture in the library's photo album. Almost all events, unless otherwise noted, will take place in the town square.

| Spring 1 | New Year's Festival | Town Square | This will occur every year after year 1. The shops are all closed. Talk to the mayor twice for 1000 G |
| Spring 15 | Cherry Cup | Town Square | Your horse has to be an adult to participate. The first time you win you'll get 10000 G, and 20000 G the second time. |
| Spring 25 | Flower Viewing Festival | Town Square | People will be looking at flowers. The shops are still open. |
| Summer 7 | Star Festival | Town Square | Rosie will tell you about the festival. |
| Summer 11 & 21 | Storm Warning | Your Farm | There will be two hurricanes, and you can't go out. |
| Fall 10 | Moon Viewing Festival | Mountain | Meet Mary at night. |
| Fall 15 | Daisy Stakes | Town Square | The winner of this race gets 10 Napa seeds. |
| Fall 25 | Harvest Festival | Town Square | This is the biggest festival. Shops are closed. Bring Rosie something for the stew and talk to the mayor, and then you'll dance. |
| Winter 1 & 20 | Heavy Snow | Your Farm | Similar to hurricanes, snow will keep you indoors and upset your animals. |
| Winter 14 | Thanksgiving | Your Farm | A villager of the opposite sex will bring you a cake. |
| Winter 25 | Holy Night | Church | Go to the church and pray and the Goddess will grant your prayers. Pray for happiness, sunshine, friendship, wealth, or health. |
