Platform - Nintendo Gameboy Color
Harvest Moon 3 has been redefined to be more like Harvest Moon 64. You now have a rucksack in which to carry items, and there have been a number of changes and improvements over Harvest Moon 2 for the Gameboy. Your farm is very large, and your house is as big as it's going to get when you first start out. In this game, you merely buy objects to go into your house - your TV, for one. Also, you can have eight of every animal, including eight horses, and choose from one of eight different pets. Shipping crops has been reconfigured as well; you need to carry crops into the storage shed, then call the farmer's union to come pick them up before six o'clock. And - to the relief of many - the dating and marriage simulation has been included! However, it's not quite as good as it sounds, as the only person you can marry is your "farm partner" - the person whom you're helping on the farm. The good thing is that your farm partner, or spouse, will do work for you. And...you can have kids. Two of them, at least. The child can grow to at least a walking stage, but it is unconfirmed if it can grow bigger.
Win the game by making the farm efficient after three years have passed. Once you've beaten it, you can keep playing forever if you play the game as a guy, but the game ends for the girl as soon as she gets married (which can be as soon as Fall of the first year). That's a little unfair, now isn't it?

How to Play
When you first start out, you'll need to clear off your fields just like the other Harvest Moon games. Ship berries, grow crops, raise animals, butter up your partner and get married, go to town, watch a movie, enter a horse race - this game has so many possibilities. Keep track of your money, and spend it wisely. To get the best feel for this game, it is recommended that the player visit GameFAQs and searches for Harvest Moon 3. Reading a FAQ there should answer most of the player's questions.
