Harvest Moon: STH Events

Harvest Moon: Save the Homeland doesn't have traditional festivals or events as did its predecessors, but it does have nine unique endings, and it is possible to achieve all of the endings in the same game.

Azure Swallowtail - To achieve this ending you'll need to befriend Lyla, Kurt, and Parsley. An event will happen near the carpenter's house with Kurt looking for a butterfly. Go to Lyla's Flower Shop and tell her about it. One day on your farm Lyla and Parsley will appear, and Parsley will look for the Blue Mist seeds. Later, they'll come back, and Parsley will give you the seeds. Plant the seeds on the brown spot near Harvest Goddess Lake in Spring or Summer. Water it daily, and, once it blooms, the butterfly will appear and you'll get the ending.

Bluebird - You'll need to become friends with Louis. One day he'll be at Maple Lake with birds, and he'll give you a flute. Practice the flute and give gifts, such as eggs, to Louis frequently. Later, when you go to Maple Lake Louis will be there and he'll mention a bluebird. In a few days he'll ask you to play your flute with him, and then a bluebird will appear and drop a feather. He will send the blue feather to someone. Talk to the Harvest Goddess to get the ending.

Snowball - To get this ending you'll have to befriend Gwen, Louis, and the Harvest Sprites. One day the Harvest Sprites will tell you about being attacked by a "giant" animal. You'll have an event with Snowball, Gwen's pet. Be nice to Gwen and one day she'll decide to take a picture of Snowball. Meet her at Harvest Goddess Lake at 7 PM, but she won't take the picture. A few days later she'll ask you to meet her at the lake at 7 PM again, and this time she'll take the picture and send it. Talk to the Harvest Goddess and a few days later you'll get the ending.

Goddess Robe - You'll need to be friends with Dia, Gina, Katie, and Louis. After a while, Gina will appear on your farm and tell you about making a robe for the festival. Another day, Katie will go to your farm and ask about the robe. Go talk to the Harvest Goddess and she'll ask for some silk. You can buy the silk thread from Louis for 3000 G, then bring it to her. A few days later she'll give you a robe that you can give to Gina. Gina will then enter the contest a few days later, and, if your friendship level is high enough, she'll win and the village will be saved.

Horse Race - You should become friends with Gwen and Bob to be able to get this ending. After you get a horse from Bob, take good care of it, and one day, after you can ride it, Bob will come to your farm. Once your horse can run, Bob will come back. Once your horse has 5 hearts, Bob will challenge you to a race. You have to beat him - try until you do. If you win, and you're friends with Gwen, she'll appear and challenge you to a race against her. Be sure to win and you'll represent the town in a National Horse Race. If you win at that race, the town will be saved.

Silver Fish - Become friends with Joe, Woody, and Kurt. After Joe gives you the old fishing rod, catch at least three fish, and Joe will tell you about a legendary fish. Keep fishing and he'll tell you about a new fishing rod at Louis' shop. Go buy the new rod, and keep fishing, and you'll eventually have a talk with Woody about a silver fish. Go to Maple Lake one night and Joe will be there, and the silver fish will appear. Give Kurt some herbs and he'll remodel your fishing rod. Go to Maple Lake again at night and, if Joe is there, the Harvest Sprites will also be there and will tell you that the silver fish only appears on Full Moon nights (the 14th, 15th, 29th, and 30th). On one of those nights, go and catch the silver fish, and you'll receive the silver scale. Take it to Joe and he'll tell someone, and you'll get the ending soon.

Cake Contest - Befriend Katie, Dia, and any other girl. One day in the café Katie will ask you for your grandmother's recipe. Go search your house for it and bring it to her. Bring her a Gold Egg, Gold Milk, and Moon Drop Dew. Continue visiting her to taste her trial attempts. If you're friends with Dia, go to her house and she'll give you a magic book, which you should take to Katie. Katie will then arrange a date between you and your best female friend near Harvest Goddess Lake, and you'll make Moon Drop Dew. Give Katie the Gold Egg and Milk. Later, Katie will come to your house and tell you she won, and you'll get the ending.

Treasure Hunt I - You'll need to be friends with both Tim and your dog. Give Tim eggs until he brings you a treasure map. Agree to help him, but you'll only find some of Bob's old things he had as a kid. Later Tim will bring you a real treasure map. Bring your dog to Clove's Villa between 11 AM and 12 PM to find the path to the Sacred Land. There you'll find the Sacred Seed. Plant the Sacred Seed near Lyla's Flower Shop and water it until it grows. You'll get the ending after it grows.

Treasure Hunt II - Befriend Tim and Dia. Tim will bring you a treasure map that only leads to Bob's old stuff. After Tim brings you the real map, start giving stuff to Dia. One day when you visit Dia inside her house you will tell her about the Sacred Land and she'll look into it. One day, she'll bring the Sacred Seed to your house. Plant the Sacred Seed near the flower shop and water it, and, once it grows, you'll get the ending.
