We all know the British have some really gay expressions, but how about this one – “sausage,” referring to a young boy. As though Music Appreciation wasn’t bad enough, he throws in a 1970’s video of a guy saying “sausage” more than once (once is somewhat tolerable). And now it’ll work its way right next to “ragamuffin” in my list of “words which contain a breakfast product and describe children.”

    although he does refer to me as “the dogs bollocks” which is supposedly a compliment…
    though it means “the dogs testicles”

  2. interesting indeed do i find that these terms manage both to contain a breakfast food and name a child.
