what a shame

A picture speaks a thousand words…

before.jpg  after.jpg

The Mets, who dominated the National League in the regular season, aren’t even going to the World Series. Instead, it’s the Cardinals versus the Tigers, and while I hope the Tigers win, I don’t really care. As long as the Mets have lost, I’m happy. 🙂 The “before” picture shows the Mets fans when the bases were loaded with one of their best hitters, Carlos Beltran, up. The “after” picture shows a fan after Beltran has struck out looking. That’s great stuff.

Next year, the Braves will be here. Just wait.

  1. i dont understand your hatred for the mets. i was hoping they would win. not that i care at all about baseball… but i liked the mets better

  2. You don’t understand my hatred of the Mets? Well, I’m a Braves fan. The Braves are in the same division as the Mets. The Mets and the Braves have been rivals for many years now. This is the first time in…many years that the Mets defeated the Braves in their division. Therefore, I hate the Mets even more.

And I hate the Yankees too.

  3. I love on Futurama where they have “Blurnsball”, and all the people from the future are like “Nlurnsball is a lot like baseball, but baseball was boring. Then someone came up and spiced it up.”

And Fry responds “Baseball was not bori…. Sooo. They finally spiced it up.”

  4. Struck out LOOKING to end the season that so many people have put their time and money into. Good going Carlos, way to earn that paycheck. 😉
